Strawberry Sauce

  1. Stir strawberries, sugar and lemon juice in heavy medium saucepan over medium heat until sugar dissolves.
  2. Bring to boil.
  3. Reduce heat and simmer 3 minutes.
  4. Transfer strawberry sauce to bowl.
  5. Chill until cold, about 2 hours.
  6. (Can be made 1 day ahead.
  7. Cover and keep chilled.)
