New Yorker Pita Sandwich

  1. In skillet, saute chicken, onion and green pepper in oil until vegetables are tender-crisp and chicken is tender.
  2. Stir in beans, horseradish sauce, salt and pepper.
  3. Simmer 5 minutes to blend flavors.
  4. Cut pitas in half and tuck 1 tomato slice and lettuce into each half.
  5. Fill each with about 13 cup bean mixture.
