Creamy Onion And Garlic Soup Recipe
- 5 tbsp. butter
- 2 lg. onions, halved, thinly sliced
- 2 lg. garlic cloves, chopped
- 2 tbsp. flour
- 1/2 c. dry white wine
- 3 c. beef stock
- 1 c. whipping cream
- Salt and white pepper
- Saute/fry onions and garlic in butter till tender but not brown, stirring occasionally about 8 min.
- Sprinkle with flour; cook 4 min.
- Add in wine; boil 2 min.
- Add in stock and cream, cook over medium heat till thickened, about 20 min.
- Season with salt and pepper.
