Scoop Net Fried Crab
- 14 cup cooking oil or 14 cup bacon grease
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 medium green bell pepper, chopped
- 1 stalk celery, chopped
- 2 cups crabmeat (lump and claw)
- salt and pepper
- Heat the oil in a skillet.
- Brown the onions, bell pepper, and celery, then add the crabmeat and stir-fry until the crab is brown.
- Add salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve over rice or grits, with fresh cornbread on the side.
