World Famous Mama Maria's Bootlegger Pizza

  1. Sprinkle the yeast and sugar in the lukewarm water, let sit until yeast bubbles up (approximately 5 minutes).
  2. Add 3 1/2 cups of the flour and salt.
  3. Mix the dough and knead until smooth.
  4. Add more flour, if needed.
  5. Make into a ball.
  6. Put into a bowl, cover and let dough rise and double in volume, about 45 minutes.
  7. Pizza Sauce:
  8. Mix all ingredients together in a bowl.
  9. Put aside until pizza dough is ready.
  10. Cheese Topping:
  11. Toss cheeses together.
  12. Preheat the oven to 450 degrees F.
  13. Once dough is risen, cut into 2 pieces and roll out to desired sizes.
  14. Top with sauce, cheese and your favorite toppings.
  15. Bake for 20 minutes, until crust is a golden brown.
