Moroccan Spiced Nuts

  1. Heat oven to 325 degrees F. Pour mixed nuts in an even layer on a rimmed baking sheet.
  2. Toast 10 minutes in oven, then transfer to a bowl.
  3. In a small bowl, combine ingredients for Moroccan spice mix.
  4. Mix well and set aside.
  5. In a small saucepan over medium-low heat, stir together honey and Moroccan spice.
  6. Mix 1 minute until smooth and heated through.
  7. Pour over nuts in bowl; toss to combine.
  8. Pour coated nuts in an even layer on rimmed baking sheet.
  9. Bake 30 minutes, tossing every 10 minutes, until warm and well-toasted.
  10. Cool 2 minutes, then toss with brown sugar and salt.
  11. Serve warm or at room temperature.
