Strawberry and Custard Parfait
- 6 Strawberries
- 4 tbsp Strawberry sauce
- 6 tbsp Custard cream
- 1 Sponge cake or castella
- 1 Whipped cream
- 1 Granola
- Make the custard cream.
- Refer to.
- Lightly wash the strawberries and pat dry.
- Remove the stems and cut in half.
- Cut the sponge cake into bite-sized pieces.
- Put the granola in the dishes, add the custard cream and use a spoon to smooth the surface.
- Add the whipped cream and top with sponge cake.
- Add the cream.
- Garnish with strawberries and top with the strawberry sauce.
- You can also garnish with mint leaves and dust with powdered sugar.

- Use 1/2 of a recipe worth of the custard cream.
- Adjust to taste.
- Please refer tofor the sponge cake.
- You can store leftover sponge cake in the freezer.
- You can use store-bought whipped cream as well.
- If possible, use heavy cream with 35% milk fat.
- If you use store-bought jam instead of strawberry sauce, add a bit of water to loosen it before using.
- You can use chocolate sauce instead of the strawberry sauce.
- It's also delicious with bananas.
