Crock Pot Beef Stew Recipe
- 2 lbs. stew beef
- 1 lg. onion (minced)
- 2 celery stalks (minced)
- 4 carrots (sliced)
- 4 potatoes (cubed)
- 2 teaspoon salt
- 2 tbsp. sugar
- 2 heaping tbsp. minute tapioca
- 2 c. tomato juice
- Water (2 c.)
- 1 env. beef stew seasoning mix
- Put raw meat on bottom of pot and layer vegetables.
- Mix salt, sugar, tapioca, tomato juice and water with seasoning mix.
- Pour over other ingredients.
- Cook on high all night, then the next morning turn to low.
- Stir the stew very good and add in more water if it's too thick.
- I usually put more vegetables than the recipe calls for, also.
