Bourbon Nut Bread

  1. Whip egg whites until stiff.
  2. Add 1 cup sugar: set aside.
  3. Cream butter and rest of sugar until light yellow.
  4. Add egg yolks one at a time.
  5. Alternately add flour, bourbon, vanilla and almond extracts.
  6. Beat well.
  7. Stir in nuts.
  8. Fold in egg whites until smooth.
  9. Divide batter into 3 greased loaf pans.
  10. Bake at 325 for 1 - 1 1/2 hours until done.
  11. Freezes well.
