Caramel Apple Cake Recipe
- 1 x spice cake mix
- 1 stk margarine
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 1 can apple pie filling
- 1 jar Warm Carmel ice cream topping
- Mix cake according to package directions.
- Heat margarine and pour into bottom of 9x13" cake pan, spreading it around.
- Sprinkle brown sugar over butter.
- Arrange apple pie filling over brown sugar.
- Pour cake mix over pie filling and bake at 350a for about 32 min.
- Cold cake in pan for about 15-20 min.
- Place cookie sheet over cake pan and invert so which all the goodies on the bottom of the pan are now on top of the cake (like a pineapple upside down cake).
- Hot Warm Carmel topping in microwave for 30-45 seconds.
- Stir until smooth.
- Drizzle over top of cake.
- Serve with vanilla ice cream or possibly Cold Whip.
