Sausage And Potato Casserole

  1. Preheat oven to 375u0b0.
  2. Grease an 8-inch square baking dish. In a medium saucepan melt 1 tablespoon butter.
  3. Add onions and saute until browned.
  4. Combine eggs, cream, cheese, caraway seed, mustard, salt and pepper.
  5. Layer half the potatoes in bottom of dish.
  6. Cover with 1/3 of egg mixture; then add onions, sausage and remaining potatoes.
  7. Pour rest of egg mixture over potatoes.
  8. Dot with remaining butter.
  9. Bake 30 to 40 minutes, until golden brown. Serves 4.
