Twonkie Filling ( Twinkie Filling Copycat )

• 2 teaspoons very hot water
• 14 teaspoon salt
• 2 cups marshmallow creme (or 7 oz. jar)
• 12 cup shortening
• 13 cup powdered sugar
• 12 teaspoon vanilla

1. In small bowl, combine salt in hot water and set aside to cool.
2. With electric mixer, beat remaining ingredients until fluffy.
3. Add salt solution and combine.
4. Ideas for uses:.
5. Prepare a yellow cake mix with pineapple juice substituted for water component.
6. Inject this filling into cupcakes made this way or a layer cake sliced horizontally.
