Caramel Butter Brie

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Melt butter, brown sugar and white sugar in heavy saucepan over low heat and stir until sugars are dissolved.
  3. Gradually whisk in heavy cream and continue whisking until smooth.
  4. Add nutmeg.
  5. Bring to a boil over medium heat and cook for 5 minutes.
  6. Place wheel of Brie on a pie plate and pour caramel over the top, letting it drip down the sides.
  7. Bake for 10 minutes or until Brie is soft.
  8. Remove from oven and sprinkle with toasted pecans.
  9. Let stand 5 minutes before serving.
