Peanut Brittle - Microwave Peanut Brittle

  1. In a 3 quarts (2850 ml) casserole dish (not metal), combine syrup, sugar, and peanuts.
  2. Microwave on high for 12 minutes.
  3. Stir in butter and vanilla.
  4. Cook on high for 4 minutes.
  5. Stir in baking soda.
  6. Pour onto buttered cookie sheet; cool and break into pieces.
