Creamy Orange Fondue Recipe
- 1/4 c. butter
- 1/4 c. all purpose flour
- 1 1/2 c. half and half
- 1/4 c. sugar
- Zest of 1 orange, finely grated
- 1 (8 ounce.) pkg. cream cheese, cubed
- 1/2 c. Grand Marnier liqueur
- Fresh Fruits: strawberries, cherries, green seedless grapes, apricots, bananas, pears, apples, peaches
- Canned Fruits: mandarin oranges, pineapple chunks
- Cubes of lb.
- cake: chocolate is especially nice.
- In a heavy bottomed saucepan, heat butter over medium heat.
- Whisk in flour.
- Slowly add in half and half, stirring till smooth.
- Add in sugar and orange zest.
- Stir in cubed cream cheese till melted.
- Add in Grand Marnier.
- Cook till mix is just bubbly.
