Apricot Orange Butter

  1. Prepare home canning jars and lids according to manufacturer's
  2. instructions.
  3. Cook apricots and orange in water until tender.
  4. Press
  5. through a sieve or food mill.
  6. Combine apricot and orange pulp, lemon juice and sugar in a large
  7. saucepot.
  8. Cook until thick enough to round up on a spoon.
  9. As mixture
  10. thickens, stir frequently to prevent sticking.
  11. Ladle hot butter into hot jars, leaving 1/4-inch headspace.
  12. Adjust
  13. two-piece caps.
  14. Process 10 minutes in a boiling-water canner.
