Whole Wheat Pizza Dough Recipe
- 3/4 c. hot water
- 1 1/2 teaspoon dry yeast
- 1 teaspoon safflower oil
- 1 teaspoon honey
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 c. whole wheat flour
- 1 c. unbleached flour
- Sift together the two flours.
- Mix dry yeast, distilled water and honey.
- Let stand 5 min.
- Add in salt and 1 c. flour.
- Mix well.
- Add in safflower oil.
- Knead in remaining flour for about 5 min till smooth and elastic.
- Cover, let rest 15 min.
- Place on well-greased glass Pyrex pizza baking dish.
- Add in sauce and cheese.
- Bake at 400 degrees for 18-20 min.
