Baked Brown Rice Recipe
- 1 c. brown rice
- 3 tsp onion chopped
- 1 tsp dry parsley
- 2 1/2 c. nonfat beef broth * see note
- 1 tsp Mrs Dash
- Brown the rice in a nonstick skillet.
- When golden, place in tightly covered casserole.
- Pour over rice, warm defatted beef broth (mix as per directions on can).
- Bake in a 350 degree oven for one hour.
- Garnish with dehydrated parsley.
- Add in more water if needed during cooking.
- NOTES :*To remove fat, refrigeratecan of beef froth in refrigerator; lift off congealed fat with spoon.
