Creole-Style Pork Chop Skillet
- 6 boneless pork chops (1-1/2 lb.), 1/2 inch thick
- 1 onion, chopped King Sooper's 1 lb For $0.99 thru 02/09
- 1 can (14-1/2 oz.) stewed tomatoes, undrained
- 1 can (8 oz.) tomato sauce
- 1/2 tsp. hot pepper sauce
- 1 pkg. (6 oz.) STOVE TOP Stuffing Mix for Pork
- Cook chops and onions in large nonstick skillet on medium heat 10 min., turning chops and stirring onions frequently after 5 min.
- Combine stewed tomatoes, tomato sauce and hot sauce; pour over chops.
- Bring to boil; cover.
- Simmer on medium-low heat 5 min.
- Meanwhile, prepare stuffing as directed on package.
- Spoon stuffing around edge of skillet; simmer, covered, 5 min.
- or until chops are done (145 degrees F).
- Remove from heat; let stand 3 min.
