Boiled Spinach--There's a Limit to Being Fuss-free!
- 1 pack Spinach
- 1 and 1/2 tablespoons Dashi soy sauce or mentsuyu
- 1 Sesame seeds
- Rinse the spinach well, and parboil in boiling water.
- Boil the spinach before cutting.
- When boiling the spinach, dunk the stalks in first, count to 10, then immerse the leaves and boil for 1-2 minutes.
- Remove the spinach from the boiling water, drain in chilled water, then gently squeeze out the excess water, and cut into desired lengths.
- Pour on the dashi soy sauce (and toss, if you like), sprinkle on some sesame seeds, then it's ready to serve.
