Bacon Wrapped Water Chestnuts
- 3 (240 ml) cans water chestnuts, whole
- 2 lbs bacon, slices, cut in half
- 12 cup catsup
- 1 cup barbecue sauce
- 2 teaspoons Tabasco sauce
- 3 teaspoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons A.1. Original Sauce
- 2 teaspoons cajun hot pepper sauce
- 2 tablespoons ReaLime juice
- 12 cup sugar
- Wrap bacon around water chestnuts and secure with toothpicks.
- Bake on foil-lined baking sheet.
- (I suggest broiler tray, or better still on BBQ & leave the smoke outside).
- at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
- Pour off grease.
- Blend other ingredients into a sauce in blender.
- Dip bacon wrapped chestnuts in sauce and bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.
