Grilled Bacon With Steak Sauce

  1. Heat 1 tablespoon olive oil in a small saucepan over medium-low heat.
  2. Add onion and garlic and cook, stirring occasionally, until onion is soft and translucent, about 15 minutes.
  3. Stir in brown sugar, vinegar, Worcestershire, salt and pepper.
  4. Bring to a simmer, then stir in tomato sauce.
  5. Simmer for 1 minute; remove from heat and let cool slightly.
  6. Stir in horseradish and let cool completely.
  7. Cover and chill (can be made 2 weeks ahead).
