Dangerous Double Chocolate Chip Cookies

  1. Melt 11 ounces of chocolate chips and butter in a double boiler.
  2. Cool.
  3. Sift together flour, baking powder, and salt.
  4. In mixing bowl, beat eggs, sugar, and vanilla until slightly thickened.
  5. Add the chocolate mixture.
  6. Add the flour mixture.
  7. By hand stir in the remaining chocolate chips and pecans.
  8. Drop by tablespoonful onto lightly greased baking sheet, spacing cookies about 3 inches apart since they really spread.
  9. Bake at 350 degrees for 8-10 minutes.
  10. DO NOT OVER BAKE.
  11. Remove to rake and cool.
  12. Note: if dough is too thin, place in fridge for 20=30 minutes before baking.
