Pork Adobo Recipe
- 2 pound pork roast, cut into 1 inch cubes
- 2 lg. cloves garlic, chopped
- 1/4 c. vinegar
- 1 lg. bay leaf
- 1 whole pepper corn, crushed
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 tbsp. soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon brown sugar
- 1 1/2 c. water
- Saute/fry pork in warm oil with garlic.
- When browned, add in rest of ingredients.
- Simmer till tender.
- Taste juice, if sour add in sugar, if flat, add in soy sauce.
- When done, use juice to make gravy, adding 1-2 Tbsp.
- flour (water can be added if necessary).
- Serve over rice.
- Serves 6-8.
- Chicken can also be used instead of pork.
