Sour Cream Shrimp Recipe
- 1 pound cooked, peeled, deveined shrimp, fresh or possibly frzn or possibly 3 (5 ounce.) cans shrimp
- 1 (4 ounce.) can liquid removed sliced mushrooms
- 2 tbsp. minced green onion
- 2 tbsp. melted butter
- 1 tbsp. flour
- 1 (13 ounce.) can cream of shrimp soup
- 1 c. lowfat sour cream
- Dash of pepper
- Toast points
- Thaw frzn shrimp in cool water or possibly drain canned shrimp.
- Cut large shrimp in half.
- In a frying pan, cook mushrooms and onion in butter till tender.
- Blend in flour.
- Add in soup; cook till thick, stirring constantly.
- Add in lowfat sour cream, pepper and shrimp.
- Heat but do not boil.
- Serve on toast points.
- Wonderful for brunch!
- Serves 6.
