Red Eye Gravy

  1. Heat drippings.
  2. Add flour and brown lightly.
  3. Add onions and stir.
  4. Brown flour and onions lightly.
  5. Add liquid all at once.
  6. Mix well with fork or whisk.
  7. Simmer to desired thickness.
  8. Season to taste with salt, pepper, red pepper.
