Chinese Chicken With an Indian Touch
- 1 kg chicken, washed,cleaned and cut into small pcs.
- 4 teaspoons soya sauce
- 1 egg
- 4 -5 teaspoons plain flour
- 1 inch fresh ginger, washed,peeled and finely chopped
- 3 -4 fresh green chilies, washed anc cut
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- salt
- oil, to deep fry
- 1 pinch ajinomoto
- 1 teaspoon garam masala powder
- Place the small chicken pcs.
- in a bowl.
- Beat the egg in a bowl using an electric beater.
- Add this beaten egg, plain flour and salt to the chicken pcs.
- Mix well.
- Keep aside for 30 minutes.
- Heat oil in a frying pan for deep frying the chicken pcs.
- Gently put the chicken pcs.
- in the pan and deep fry them on low flame.
- Ensure that the chicken remains soft.
- For this, it is necessary that you don't over-fry it.
- Remove the chicken pcs.
- from the oil, drain on clean paper towels and keep aside.
- Fry the ginger and green chillies in hot oil.
- Add the fried chicken pcs.

- Add soya sauce, pepper powder and garam masala powder.
- Mix well and allow it to remain on low flame for 5 minutes.
- For colour and spice, add 1/2 tsp.
