Italian Monte Cristo
- 20 each eggs
- 10 cups milk
- 2 Tbsp. Italian seasoning
- 1 1/4 cups Kraft Shredded Parmesan
- 80 slices Dense country-style Italian bread, cut into 1/4-inch-thick slices
- 160 slices deli-sliced salami
- 40 slices Kraft Provolone Slices
- 1 1/4 cups butter
- Beat eggs with wire whisk until foamy.
- Add milk, Italian seasoning and Parmesan cheese; beat until well blended.
- For each serving: Top 1 bread slice with 2 oz.
- salami (about 2 slices) and 1 provolone cheese slice.
- Melt butter on griddle set at 325F.
- Dip both sides of sandwich into egg mixture.
- Place on griddle; cook until cheese is melted and sandwich is golden brown on both sides.
- Serve immediately.
