Sesame Shrimp and Broccoli
- 1 pound Medium-large Raw Shrimp, Peeled, Deveined
- 1 Tablespoon Olive Oil
- 2 cloves Garlic, Finely Chopped
- 2 bunches Broccoli
- 2 teaspoons Sesame Oil
- 1 teaspoon Red Pepper Flakes
- 3 Tablespoons Soy Sauce
- 4 teaspoons White Sesame Seeds, Toasted
- Clean broccoli, separate florets and peel/chop stems into bite-sized pieces.
- Set broccoli aside.
- Heat a large frying pan over high heat.
- Add olive oil to the pan.
- Immediately add shrimp and garlic.
- Stir fry quickly until pink.
- Remove from the pan and place in a bowl.
- Do not overcook shrimp, they should just be turning pink.
- Return the frying pan to the heat and add the broccoli.
- Stir broccoli in the garlic and oil.
- When the broccoli turns bright green, add shrimp back to the pan with any liquid that has accumulated in the bowl.
- Drizzle with sesame oil and add red pepper flakes.
- Stir to combine.
- Turn off heat, add soy sauce and stir to coat everything with soy sauce.
- Plate the stir-fry with rice, or place in bowl.
- Sprinkle with sesame seeds and enjoy!
