Buttermilk Cake Recipe

  1. Mix egg, sugar and 1/2 of the buttermilk.
  2. Add in baking soda to 2nd half of buttermilk, let sit for 5 mins then add in to first mix.
  3. Add in cardamon to flour.
  4. Add in buttermilk and melted margarine to the flour and mix well.
  5. Add in blueberries.
  6. Spray a medium bundt pan.
  7. Gently put cake/blueberry mix in pan and bake at 350 degrees for about 35 mins or possibly till toothpick comes clean.
  8. Cold on rack for 5 mins before removing from pan.
  9. Originally called for raisins instead of blueberries.
  10. The bundt pan I use is not as big as the ones currently on the market.
  11. Can also be made in a loaf pan
