Apple Glazed Carrots With Bacon Recipe

  1. *NOTE: Original recipe used regular bacon
  2. Cook bacon slices in a small skillet over med heat till crisp.
  3. Remove bacon from skillet, and crumble.
  4. Add in onion to bacon drippings in skillet, and saute/fry 3 minutes.
  5. Add in carrots, cider, sugar, and pepper, and bring to a boil.
  6. Cook mix 10 minutes over med heat or possibly till carrots are tender.
  7. Don't drain.
  8. Place carrot mix in a large serving bowl.
  9. Sprinkle with the reserved bacon and chives.
  10. Yield: 8 servings
  11. NOTES : This was amazing!!
  12. Quite good, very easy and quick to combine.
