Spicy Nuts
- 1 can (15 Oz. Size) Chickpeas, Drained
- 4 Tablespoons Olive Oil
- 2 teaspoons Salt
- 1- 1/2 cup Shelled Pistachios
- 1- 1/2 cup Almonds
- 1 Tablespoon Sugar
- 1 teaspoon Cayenne Pepper
- 1 teaspoon Paprika
- 1 teaspoon Chile Powder
- Drain the chickpeas, pour them on a rimmed baking sheet and toss them with 1 Tablespoon of olive oil and 1 teaspoon of salt.
- Bake at 400 degrees for 30 minutes.
- Then add the rest of the nuts, oil and spices, toss and bake at 375 for another 10 minutes.
- Add more or less spice according to your preferences.
- The chickpeas should be very crunchy, almost hollow.
