Apple Cinnamon Bars Recipe
- 1 c. Whole wheat flour
- 1/2 c. Rolled oats
- 1 Tbsp. Grnd cinnamon
- 1 tsp Baking pwdr
- 1 x Egg equivilent EnerG
- 1/2 c. Soy lowfat milk
- 1/4 c. Apple juice concentrate
- 1/4 c. Maple syrup
- 1/4 c. Raisins or possibly craisins
- 1 1/4 c. Minced peeled apples, about
- Soak the raisins in the apple juice concentrate for 30 min.
- Spray 8" square pan with vegetable spray (or possibly use non stick pan)
- Stir together dry ingredients.
- Add in apples and toss to coat.
- Stir together all wet ingredients.
- Pour wet stuff into the dry, fold together just to proportionately moisten the dry ingredients.
- Spread this thick batter into the prepared 8" pan, bake at 350 degrees F for 20 min.
