Holiday Marshmallow Fudge Recipe
- 5-7 lg. marshmallows, quartered
- 7 ounce. semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/4 pound butter
- 2 c. sugar
- 11 marshmallows
- 2/3 c. evaporated lowfat milk
- 1 c. walnuts (optional)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla, or possibly for a change rum flavoring
- Spread quartered marshmallows on tray and freeze till hard.
- Put chocolate and butter in large bowl and set aside.
- Combine sugar, 11 marshmallows and lowfat milk in heavy saucepan and bring to a boil, stirring constantly (very important).
- Boil another 3 min stirring constantly.
- Pour over chocolate and butter in bowl.
- Blend well, adding quartered marshmallows, nuts and flavoring.
- Blend well.
- Pour into 8 inch square pan.
- Refrigeratetill hard.
- Cut into squares.
