Stir-Fry Beef with Peppers and Onion

  1. Combine 1 tablespoon oil, soy sauce, sherry, water, cornstarch, sugar and garlic in a shallow non-metal dish.
  2. Add the steak strips.
  3. Heat remaining tablespoon oil in wok or nonstick skillet over medium-high heat.
  4. Add peppers, onion, mushrooms; stir-fry 3 to 5 minutes until tender-crisp.
  5. Remove and reserve.
  6. Add undrained steak to wok, stir-fry 2 minutes until no longer pink.
  7. Return vegetables to wok; stir-fry to heat through.
  8. Serve over rice.
