Mosaic Slices (Refrigerator Cookies) Recipe

  1. Cream butter.
  2. Gradually add in confectionery sugar.
  3. Blend in egg and vanilla.
  4. Add in flour and mix well.
  5. Stir in pecans and cherries.
  6. Refrigeratedough for 1 hour.
  7. Divide dough into three rolls, 12 x 1 1/2 inch.
  8. Wrap in wax paper.
  9. Refrigerate3 hrs.
  10. Slice 1/8 inch thick.
  11. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 325 degrees for 10 min, till there is a light color on the bottom of the cookies.
  12. Storage: As crisp cookies.
