Baked Macaroni and Cheese Balls
- 1 box of your favorite macaroni & cheese
- 1 cup all purpose flour
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 dash of salt & pepper to taste
- 1 cup Italian seasoned breadcrumbs
- 2 tbsp parmesan cheese
- 1 large egg
- 2 tbsp milk
- 1 cooking spray
- cook mac and cheese according to directions on box, then spread evenly in a 9 x 9 pan and refrigerate overnight or until cold and set
- preheat oven 350F/spray cookie sheet lightly with cooking spray
- in a small bowl whisk egg and milk together
- in a second bowl combine flour, garlic and onion powders, and salt & pepper
- in a third bowl combine the breadcrumbs and parmesan cheese
- cut cold mac and cheese into 1" x 1" squares
- form a square into a ball, roll in flour mixture, then into egg mixture, and then into the breadcrumbs repeat for all mac & cheese
- place on prepared cookie sheet
- bake 30 min or until desired crustyness is achieved
- turn every 10 minutes to make sure all sides toast
