Sauteed Yellow Squash with Basil and Pine Nuts

  1. In a large skillet, melt the butter over moderately high heat.
  2. Add the garlic, pine nuts and red pepper.
  3. Saute for 1 minute and add the squash.
  4. Toss and saute over moderate heat for 2 minutes.
  5. Add the basil, toss, and remove from heat.
  6. Season with salt and pepper and serve.
