Shortcake Cookies Recipe

• 1 pound flour
• 2 teaspoon baking pwdr
• 2 Large eggs
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
• 1/2 grated rind of lemon
• 1/2 pound butter

1. Mix all ingredients to a stiff dough.
2. Work till smooth and pliable.
3. Leave in ice box for 1 hour.
4. Roll out thinly and cut into shapes.
5. Bake at 350 degrees for 9-10 min.
