CRACKER BARREL Broccoli Mac & Cheese

  1. Preheat oven to 350F.
  2. Spray 1-1/2-qt.
  3. casserole dish with cooking spray; set aside.
  4. Melt butter in large saucepan on low heat.
  5. Add flour, salt and red pepper; mix well.
  6. Cook and stir 2 min.
  7. or until bubbly.
  8. Gradually add milk, stirring until well blended.
  9. Increase heat to medium.
  10. Bring to boil, stirring constantly.
  11. Reduce heat to medium-low; simmer 3 to 5 min.
  12. or until thickened, stirring constantly.
  13. Gradually add 2-1/2 cups of the cheese; cook and stir 3 to 5 min.
  14. or until cheese is melted.
  15. Add broccoli, macaroni and onions; mix lightly.
  16. Spoon into 1-1/2-qt.
  17. casserole dish; sprinkle with remaining 1/2 cup cheese.
  18. Bake 20 min.
  19. or until heated through.
