Vegetable Salad Deluxe
- 1 small cauliflower
- 1 small broccoli
- 8 oz. can diced water chestnuts
- 8 oz. can English peas, drained
- 3 oz. pkg. bacon bits
- 8 oz. sour cream
- 1 c. mayonnaise
- 1 c. grated cheddar cheese
- 1 small purple onion, chopped
- 8 oz. can Shoepeg corn, drained
- 1 pkg. Hidden Valley Ranch Salad Dressing Mix
- Wash and cut broccoli and cauliflower into bite size pieces. (You can buy packages of broccoli and cauliflower that have already been prepared.)
- Mix sour cream, mayonnaise and dressing mix together and set aside.
- Add water chestnuts, peas, corn, onion, bacon bits and cheese to broccoli and cauliflower.
- Gently mix all ingredients, slowly stirring in the mayonnaise mixture. Refrigerate until ready to eat (at least 2 hours).
