Soft and Chewy Cheese Rolls in a Bread Machine
- 240 grams Bread (strong) flour
- 10 grams Tapioca powder
- 20 grams Butter or margarine
- 1 1/3 tsp Dry yeast
- 10 grams Sugar
- 1 tsp Salt
- 160 ml Lukewarm water
- 100 grams Cheese (any type)
- 1 Bread (strong) flour
- Put all of the ingredients in the bread maker and let it do the work until the first rising.
- After the dough has risen, round it out neatly and let it sit for 20 minutes.
- Place the dough from Step 1 on the counter dusted with flour.
- Pound out the gas and roll it out into a 22 x 18 cm rectangle.
- Sprinkle the dough with cheese, leaving about 1 cm around the edge empty, and roll it up.
- Tightly seal the seams.
- Cut the dough into 8 pieces.
- Place onto a sheet of parchment paper, leaving space in between each slice, and let rise a second time.
- Bake for 12-13 minutes in an oven preheated to 210C.
