Soft and Chewy Cheese Rolls in a Bread Machine

  1. Put all of the ingredients in the bread maker and let it do the work until the first rising.
  2. After the dough has risen, round it out neatly and let it sit for 20 minutes.
  3. Place the dough from Step 1 on the counter dusted with flour.
  4. Pound out the gas and roll it out into a 22 x 18 cm rectangle.
  5. Sprinkle the dough with cheese, leaving about 1 cm around the edge empty, and roll it up.
  6. Tightly seal the seams.
  7. Cut the dough into 8 pieces.
  8. Place onto a sheet of parchment paper, leaving space in between each slice, and let rise a second time.
  9. Bake for 12-13 minutes in an oven preheated to 210C.
