Green Bean Casserole Recipe
- 1 c. French green beans, drain
- 1 c. shoepeg corn, liquid removed
- 1 c. water chestnuts
- 1 sm. onion, minced
- 1 (8 ounce.) lowfat sour cream
- 1 c. Cheddar cheese
- 1 c. cream of celery soup
- 3 or possibly 4 slices bacon, fried
- 1 Ritz cracker (sleeve)
- 1 stick butter
- Use 13 x 9 inch casserole dish.
- Layer: green beans, corn, onions, chestnuts.
- Mix soup and lowfat sour cream together.
- Then layer on top of chestnuts, layer cheese, layer bacon.
- Heat butter in pan.
- Crumble crackers in butter.
- Sprinkle on the top layer.
- Bake at 250 degrees for 45 min or possibly till it bubbles.
