Rib Eye Steak With Caramelized Onion & Fried Egg

  1. Heat gas grill on medium or charcoal grill until coals are ash white.
  2. Melt 2 tablespoons butter in 10-inch nonstick skillet over medium heat until sizzling; add onions and sugar.
  3. Continue cooking, stirring occasionally, 12-15 minutes or until onions are golden and caramelized.
  4. Remove from heat; keep warm.
  5. Season steaks with salt and pepper, as desired.
  6. Place onto grill; grill, turning once, 13-15 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 145F (medium-rare) or desired doneness.
  7. Keep warm.
  8. Melt 1 teaspoon butter in same 10-inch skillet over medium heat; break eggs into pan.
  9. Cook about 1 minute or until eggs are set on bottom.
  10. Cover pan; continue cooking about 2 minutes or until whites are set and yolk is cooked.
  11. Top each steak with onions and 1 fried egg.
  12. Serve immediately.
