Fluffy & Creamy Yamaimo Salad
- 350 grams Yamaimo (with the peel)
- 1 Canned tuna
- 1 1/2 tbsp or more Mayonnaise
- 1/2 tbsp Ponzu
- 1/2 tsp Kombu tea (optional)
- 1 Green scallion
- Peel the yamaimo and cut into thick rectangular or round slices.
- Place the yamaimo in a microwave-proof bowl or plate covered with cling film.
- Heat for 8 minutes on 600 W. Mash roughly with a fork.
- Once you've made the mashed yamaimo, combine with the seasonings while it's still warm.
- Drain the oil from the tuna before adding it.
- Mix everything well.
- Then chill well in the fridge.
- Serve on a plate.
