Crispy Cheddar Crackers Recipe

  1. Spray baking sheet with nonstick spray coating.
  2. Set aside.
  3. In a medium mixing bowl, stir together flour, walnuts, paprika and onion pwdr.
  4. Cut in butter till mix resembles coarse crumbs.
  5. Stir in cheese.
  6. Sprinkle 1 tsp.
  7. of the water over part of the mix; gently toss with a fork.
  8. Repeat till all is moistened.
  9. Form dough into a ball; flatten slightly.
  10. Roll 1/8 inch thick.
  11. Cut dough with a 2 inch round cookie cutter, rerolling trimmings.
  12. Transfer to the prepared baking sheet.
  13. Bake in a 350 degree oven about 12 min or possibly till golden brown.
  14. Remove; cold on a wire rack.
  15. Makes about 55 crackers, about 15 servings.
  16. For Grnd Walnuts: Place walnut pcs in a blender container or possibly food processor bowl.
  17. Blend or possibly process till finely grnd.
  18. (Use the same measure of walnut pcs as you need to grnd walnuts.)
