Floridas Seafood Alfredo
- 1/2 teaspoons Sea Salt, For Pasta Water
- 6 ounces, weight Linguine Noodles (Or Your Favorite Pasta)
- 2 Tablespoons Sweet Cream Butter
- 1 teaspoon All-purpose Flour
- 2 Tablespoons Cold Milk
- 1 Tablespoon Old Bay Seasoning
- 1 teaspoon Black Pepper
- 1/4 cups Light Cream Or Half-and-Half
- 4 ounces, weight Large Shrimp, Deveined, No Shell Or Tail (If Using Frozen, Thaw First)
- 4 ounces, weight Fresh Sea Scallops (If Frozen, Thaw First)
- 4 ounces, weight 2-inch Thick Halibut Fillet, Preferably Fresh
- 1- 1/2 cup Grated Parmesan Cheese
- Chopped Fresh Parsley For Garnish
- In a pot of boiling water, add salt and pasta of your choice.
- Cook according to package instructions until al dente.
- Drain, set aside.
- In a large skillet over low heat, add butter and melt.
- Mix flour and milk to create a slurry, add to pan and increase heat to medium and stir well.
- Add Old Bay seasoning and black pepper, stir together.
- Add cream, and once you see small bubbles forming on the sides of skillet (about 45 minutes), add shrimp and stir gently.
- Add sea scallops and stir gently.
- Add halibut and cook 56 minutes.
- Add Parmesan cheese and incorporate gently into the sauce, cook 34 minutes, then add pasta noodles.
- Toss gently and serve.
- Garnish with parsley.
