Best Pie Crust Recipe
- 2 1/4 c. flour
- 2 c. lard
- 1 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 tbsp. sugar
- Mix all together to a crumb stage.
- Add in, mixed together: 1 egg, beaten 1 teaspoon vinegar
- Combine the last 3 ingredients and add in to first mix, mix by hand.
- Pour onto floured board and add in more flour till you can handle easily.
- This makes sufficient dough for 4 two-crust 8 inch pies.
