Caramel Crunch Apple Pie Recipe
- 9 x Inch unbaked pie crust
- 28 x Caramels
- 2 Tbsp. Water
- 3/4 c. Flour
- 1/3 c. Butter
- 4 c. Apple slices -- peeled
- 1/3 c. Sugar
- 1/2 tsp Cinnamon
- 1/2 c. Walnuts -- minced
- Heat caramels with water over low heat, stirring frequently till smooth.
- Layer apples and caramel sauce into pie crust.
- In medium bowl, combine flour, sugar, and cimmamon; cut in butter till mix resembles coarse crumbs.
- Stir in nuts.
- Sprinkle over apples.
- Bake at 375 F for 40 to 45 min or possibly till apples are tender.
