Pumpkin Fruit Cake

  1. Cream butter and sugar, add eggs and beat well.
  2. Add cold mashed pumpkin, flour sifted with cream of tartar and baking soda.
  3. Lastly mix in 1 lb (.5 kg) dried mixed fruit.
  4. Turn into greased pan.
  5. Bake in slow oven 1 1/2 hrs.
